ALL DAY - "FILL THE BUS" - Virtual - Spartan Students! The MSU Center for Community Engaged Learning and MSU Alumni invites you to participate in our 15th Annual “Fill the Bus” event. We strive to give local students and families an equal start to the new school year! When a student walks into the classroom with the basic supplies they need, they can focus on what really matters - learning! Students you can donate New school supplies (ex. pack of Crayons, Pack of #2 Pencils, Pack of Markers, Notebooks, and or Folders) at the Center for Community Engaged Learning located in the Student Services Building, Suite 101. You can also make a monetary donation online through our CrowdPower fundraising page. 2 - 4 PM (EDT) MSU HISPANIC/LATINX WELCOME CELEBRATION - Summer Circle Theatre (Between Kresge & Auditorium). The back-up rain location is South Kedzie Courtyard - The Latinx Welcome Celebration provides new, transfer & returning Latinx students with an opportunity to experience the Latinx atmosphere at MSU by learning about campus involvement and resources. This event helps new students network with other students, faculty, & staff. 7 PM (EDT) WOMEN'S SOCCER V. EASTERN MICHIGAN - DeMartin Stadium - Complimentary admission with ID to all MSU students! Hosted by MSU Athletics - 

7:30 PM (EDT) FEMFEST 2023: A CELEBRATION OF FEMINISM IN THE ARTS - MSU Union Ballroom - FEMfest is a powerful and empowering celebration of feminism in the arts. Held on the first Thursday after classes begin (August 31), FEMfest is an animated event that encourages experimentation and self-expression without restraint or apology. In reclaiming the Union, we create a brave and boundless space where students can stand out, make a statement, and feel heard. Women*s Student Services, in collaboration with Impact 89FM, University Activities Board, and MSU Women*s Council, welcomes anyone and everyone with the same courage, passion for change, and rebellious spirit.
