RSO Fundraising
Below are lists of different types of fundraisers. We will continue to develop and update this list as we learn of more similar fundraisers that organizations can host to raise money for their RSOs.
This list is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute endorsement or support by Michigan State University of these websites or of the products or services contained therein.
For most of the off-campus based fundraisers, the vendors or companies will ask for a W9 or an associated Employee Identification Number (EIN), the RSOs are not affiliated with MSU and as such are not allowed to use MSU's EIN/W9 to host the fundraiser. If a group is needing to give an EIN/W9 then they would need to work with the IRS to establish an EIN for the RSO.
