ALL DAY - "FILL THE BUS" - Virtual - Spartan Students! The MSU Center for Community Engaged Learning and MSU Alumni invites you to participate in our 15th Annual “Fill the Bus” event. We strive to give local students and families an equal start to the new school year! When a student walks into the classroom with the basic supplies they need, they can focus on what really matters - learning! Students you can donate New school supplies (ex. pack of Crayons, Pack of #2 Pencils, Pack of Markers, Notebooks, and or Folders) at the Center for Community Engaged Learning located in the Student Services Building, Suite 101. You can also make a monetary donation online through our CrowdPower fundraising page. 10 AM – 12 PM (EDT) SPARTAN COFFEE HOUSE CONNECT UP – MSU STEM BuildingJoin us for a Spartan connection opportunity where you will have the opportunity to meet up with other Spartans, participate in a wellbeing informational fair, a success strategies informational fair, and enjoy refreshments all to support your success in your Spartan journey. 10 AM – 12 PM (EDT) GRADUATE SCHOOL RESOURCE FAIR - MSU Union - All NEW and RETURNING Graduate & Professional Students are invited to attend the Graduate School’s Welcome and Resource Fair on Saturday, August 26. Council of Graduate Students (COGS) will be there!

10:30 AM (EDT) THE GENDER AND SEXUALITY CAMPUS CENTER (GSCC) NEW STUDENT WELCOME BRUNCH - MSU Broad Art Museum-Education Wing 1st Floor - Join LGBTQIA2S+ new students and allies for brunch in the Broad Art Museum! Meet new Spartans, learn about clubs and organizations to join, and learn about all the resources the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center has to offer. Hope to meet you on Saturday, August 26th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Broad Art Museum! Meat, vegetarian, and vegan options available.

12 - 2 PM (EDT) PATHWAY PROGRAMS FALL WELCOME EVENT - People's Park - A special welcome event for all students participating in the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS), Dow Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), Detroit Mastering Academics Demonstrating Excellence (M.A.D.E.), and Spartan First-Generation Leadership and Innovation (FLI) Vanderploeg programs. Even if you are not a member of these programs, please come by to learn more about how we can support you! Hosted by Office of Undergraduate Education Pathway Programs.

12 - 3 PM (EDT) COGS FALL WELCOME CELEBRATION - For Graduate and Professional Students - MSU Benefactors Plaza (Outside behind Chittenden Hall) - Come celebrate new beginnings! After the Graduate School Welcome & Resource Fair at the Union, make your way over to Benefactors Plaza (behind Chittenden Hall) for the COGS Fall Welcome Celebration. Join COGS, Graduate Student Life and Wellness, The Graduate School and other campus partners for an in-person, outdoor afternoon of fun, friends, good food, games, music and more! (graduate & professional students only).

12 - 4 PM (EDT) ARMY ROTC WELCOME COOKOUT - Demonstration Hall - This is the fall kickoff to the semester for Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). We welcome all new students, freshmen, and transfers to come and meet the cadre and staff, fellow classmates, and ask pertinent questions. Also, we provide information about the upcoming school year and what to expect. We also talk to students about possible careers in the United States Army. 1 - 4 PM (EDT) MSU BROAD ART MUSEUM - WELCOME BACK SPARTANS! - MSU Broad Art Museum - Welcome back, students! We missed you over the summer—wanna hang out? Stop by your free campus art museum to check out our exhibitions and screen-print your own custom-designed tote bag to carry around campus! Hosted by MSU Broad Art Museum.

2 - 5 PM (EDT) 43RD ANNUAL UFEST HOSTED BY University Activities Board (UAB) MSU Union - Start your semester off right at UFest! This annual event hosted by UAB includes everything from giveaways and food to music and outdoor activities. Take your picture with the Sparty bench and enjoy a creative moment while crafting, all for free. Bring a friend and join the UFest fun from 2-5 PM on Saturday, August 26 at the MSU Union.

3:30 - 5 PM (EDT) LGBTQIA2S+ GRADUATE STUDENT WELCOME - Student Services Building (SSB) 110 - Join the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) for the LGBTQIA2S+ Graduate student welcome. Being a graduate student is hard, being a queer or trans graduate student can be even harder! Sometimes you are the only out person in your cohort and sometimes you don't have a cohort at all! Meet other queer and trans graduate students to build your network and learn how the GSCC can support you! Let's be in community on Saturday, August 26th from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM in the Student Services Building, Room 110!

4 PM (EDT) BLACK STUDENTS' ALLIANCE AND UAB'S WELCOME BLACK COOKOUT - The Welcome Black Cookout will be an event focused on bringing the Black Community together as they start the semester. With the assistance from the University's Activities Board, Several Black Organizations and resources will be able to meet and connect with Black Students. Attendees can expect community, networking, and food that will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Please show up and enjoy yourself, we’ll be waiting!

5:30 PM (EDT) SVRC WELCOME BACK COOKOUT - SSB Garden near the fountain Join the MSU Student Veterans Resource Center (SVRC) as we welcome back our military-connected students! The event will be Saturday, August 26 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at the MSU Student Services Building. There is free parking after 6PM in Lots 7 & 8. The event will feature free food, a bounce house, giveaways, and the opportunity to meet with SVRC staff and learn about community resources. Hosted by the MSU Student Veterans Resource Center.

6:30 PM (EDT) FLOOR MEETING - Your floor - On-campus residents will have a floor meeting the weekend before classes begin. Those on an odd-numbered floor will meet on Saturday, August 26, at 6:30 PM. Exact meeting locations will vary per hall and will be shared by the RA. During this meeting, residents will meet their RA, connect with peers, and establish communal expectations as a floor. Participation in this MEETING IS REQUIRED.

6 - 11 PM (EDT) MOONLIGHT EXTRAVA-GRAND-ZA - Downtown East Lansing and contiguous areas to downtown East Lansing - The Moonlight Extrava-GRAND-za is an event where East Lansing business owners and community members will come together to welcome new MSU students and welcome back returning students. Hosted by the City of East Lansing and 501.
